Glendale Mall
Opened in 1958 as an open air mall with more than 20 stores. The two anchor stores were L.S. Ayres and Wm. H. Block. A tunnel running under the length of the mall links the basements of the two anchors. The mall was enclosed in 1970.

The Penguins
Bronze sculpture by Arthur Kraft 1960. Wynkin, Blynkin, and Nod. Originally outdoors, then inside the enclosed mall, then moved to the ground floor of the library (old Blocks building), currently at the Indianapolis Zoo.
